Schedule a meeting below.

Pastor Tally comes to us from Baltimore, MD where he has served as the Executive Director of the Baltimore Baptist Association since 2016.

Born into poverty to an unwed mother in Baltimore City, Tally was the first person in his family, from either side, to graduate high school. He went on to attain an undergraduate degree in Government with a focus on Pre-Law and a master’s degree in Religion with an emphasis on Christian Leadership from Liberty University. He served at Thomas Road Baptist Church and on staff at Liberty Christian Academy under Dr. Jerry Falwell Sr. before going on to plant churches in Texas, Virginia, and Maryland.

Tally is the founder of Paradise Community, (paradise.cc) and serves as the senior pastor and church planter for this new work in our area. Additionally, he is president of Captivate Global Initiatives (captivateglobal.org), a mission agency based in East Africa. CGI is home to Captivate Christian Academy, a Christian school of 200 students and 18 staff. CCA has been named the best school in the Muhuru region by Duke University’s W.I.S.E.R. program and the Kenyan government. He’s also the founder of the G.E.M. Program (Gospel. Education. Mentoring.) in Baltimore, MD where inner-city students are invited to learn about Jesus, receive help with their schoolwork, and are partnered with a mentor who invests time in their lives on a weekly basis. Tally has been vetted and approved as a NAMB missionary on three separate occasions: once as a missionary to Houston, TX, and twice as a church planter (Virginia and Maryland).

Above all but salvation in Christ, Tally counts as his greatest accomplishment the fact that he convinced his wife of 23 years, Kristy, to marry him. Together they have a 17-year-old son, Caleb, and a 14-year-old daughter, Ainsley.
